OUR STORY

We built VibeSpot because we
kept staring at blank pages.

Most creators waste more time deciding what to film than actually creating content. We thought that was insane.

The problem

The math is broken. A creator producing 4 short-form videos a week spends about 3 to 5 hours per week deciding what to film — scrolling for inspiration, reading trend reports, and second-guessing ideas. That's almost as much time as the actual filming and editing combined.

Meanwhile, you're walking past three viable hooks every block. That cafe with the wraparound mirror. The mural everyone keeps geo-tagging. The boutique that opened on Tuesday. The block doesn't lie — your camera roll just doesn't notice it.

Why we built VibeSpot

We're creators ourselves. We've burned weekends "scouting locations" that turned into eating overpriced brunches and not filming anything. We've opened the camera, stared at it, and put it back down.

The breakthrough was realizing that the hard part isn't generating any content idea — ChatGPT can do that. The hard part is generating ideas that match where you actually are, what your audience expects from you, and can be filmed in under 15 minutes.

So we built VibeSpot to do exactly that. It maps the real venues around you, runs them through a recommendation model that knows your niche, and ships you ideas with a hook, caption, and shot list already attached. No blank page. No more debate. Open the app, tap, film.

Our mission

Help creators spend less time planning and more time creating.

Every feature we ship is judged against one question: does this turn a creator's blank page into a roll camera moment faster? If yes, it stays. If no, it's gone.

The product, briefly

EARLY 2026

The idea

A handful of creators kept asking the same question: "What should I film right now, based on where I am?" We started prototyping.

Q1 2026

First swipe deck

Built the first version: tap a location, get a vertical swipe deck of ideas. Tested with 30 creators across food, travel, and lifestyle.

Q2 2026

The Plan tab

Creators kept asking "can we plan a whole day?" so we built a multi-stop, multi-day filming router.

Q2 2026

Folders & completion tracking

Ideas don't help if you lose them. We added folders, brand-shoot grouping, and a tick-off-when-filmed flow.

June 2026

Android beta

Closed beta on Google Play with 6 niche-specific tester accounts. iOS submission to follow.

NEXT

What's coming

Smart trend alerts when a saved spot lights up. Niche-specific Pro packs. Caption A/B tuning. Co-shoot mode.

Who we are

VibeSpot is built by a small, focused team of creators and engineers. We don't have a 50-person marketing department — we have a Slack channel and a Notion. We answer every email at info@thevibespotapp.com.

If you have feedback, send it. We read it.
